Installation

1. Place spot-news in your resources folder.

2. Configure config.lua and server_config.lua.

3. Add the resource after its dependencies:

Description

Bring your city to life with Spot News, a custom LB Phone application that automatically reports crimes and public-safety incidents directly to players.

Players receive live news alerts for shootings, assaults, carjackings, gunfire, homicides, and optional dangerous driving.

Police can also create citywide wanted posters with a character’s name, photo, charges, details, and display bounty.

The LB Phone developer identity is permanently locked to Ascend Development and cannot be changed through the config.

Discord Webhooks

Separate webhook options are included for:

• News reports

• Wanted posters

• Audit logs

Webhook URLs, role mentions, usernames, avatars, events, and embed colors can be changed in config.lua.

Important Information

• Wanted bounties are display-only

• The script does not automatically pay rewards

• Custom crime scripts can be connected through server exports

• Discord webhook URLs are added by the customer

• Designed for the official Cfx/Tebex asset entitlement system
